Holiday Fun in Orlando
December 11, 2015
Orlando has a mild winter and has never had a white Christmas, but we still love to get in the winter spirit! If you plant to be in Orlando during the holidays and still want to enjoy a day of fun that reminds of you of a traditional snowy holiday, here is what we recommend:
Go Ice Skating
Visit the beautiful UCF campus for their Light Up UCF “50 Nights of Music, Lights and Ice” event that runs until January 3 outside the CFE Arena. The event offers an 8,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink, rides, and holiday attractions. Plus, they’ll make it snow every evening this year
Besides the Ice Rink, there are also a Ferris Wheel, Blizzard Ride, Arctic Glide Ice Slide, Santa’s Workshop and a Holiday Film Festival!
Tickets are available at the CFE Arena box office and online. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Save on Skating ($9/ticket) and Ultimate Ride Package ($17/ticket). Other package offers include birthday party packages, fundraisers, field trips, and corporate events. For questions or more information, contact CFE Arena Group Sales stan.macko@ucf.edu or call 407.823.6062. The address is 12777 Gemini Blvd. N, Orlando, FL 32816.
